John J. ("J.J.") Daller

John J. (“J.J.”) Daller is an attorney at Barrett | Matura. His practice encompasses a variety of areas, with an emphasis on commercial litigation (both prosecuting and defending cases), counseling businesses and entrepreneurs on numerous issues, and providing clients with legal services related to transactions, compliance, and other business issues. His practice also includes cannabis law, insurance law, municipal and governmental law, real estate law, transportation law, employment law, sports law, and Civil Rights law.
J.J. has experience handling disputes from inception to resolution for clients ranging from individuals and local businesses to national and transnational entities. He began his professional career with a regional law firm serving the financial services industry throughout the western United States, with clients that included mortgage companies, banking institutions, and loan servicers, where his practice focused on mortgage litigation and resolving real estate title issues. J.J. subsequently worked as an attorney for one of the top-ten largest law firms in the United States, where he provided various legal services to clients in a wide range of industries. While in law school, J.J. served as a judicial extern for a Judge of the Superior Court of Orange County, California, where he gained invaluable experience researching and writing about complex issues and witnessing numerous jury trials from pretrial motions and jury selection through verdict, as well as the Court’s weekly law and motion calendar. J.J. also served as a certified legal intern for the California Department of Justice’s Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse. Additionally, he served as a legal intern for the University of California Davis Athletic Department, a Division One NCAA program, where he assisted the Compliance Services staff with navigating numerous intercollegiate athletics compliance issues impacting student-athletes and coaches. J.J. is appreciative of, and grateful for, many individuals he has met throughout his career for their friendship, mentorship, and guidance in his professional development and personal growth. |
