Melissa England is a partner at Barrett | Matura, and her practice encompasses a variety of areas, including insurance law, construction law, commercial litigation, municipal and governmental law, and cannabis law.  She has received the Rising Star designation by Super Lawyers and has been named as one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers.

In her insurance law practice, Ms. England provides thoughtful analysis of coverage issues to insurers, vigorously defends contract and bad faith disputes, and pursues various avenues of insurance recovery for various clients.  Ms. England also represents municipal governments, businesses, and other clients in a variety of matters, including contract disputes and discrimination claims.  With respect to Arizona's medical and adult use cannabis industry, Ms. England represents publicly-traded companies, licensed entities, investors, and others regarding compliance issues with the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act, the Smart and Safe Arizona Act, and the Adult Use Marijuana Program.
